Why owners choose this
Vetted, one-on-one trainers. Matched to your dog.
We do not refer owners to franchise training chains. In our view, they lean on less experienced staff and indoor facilities instead of real-world training.
Good questions
Before we begin.
How much does board and train cost in Tampa?
Programs typically start around $2,000. Length of stay, goals and trainer all change the total. 0% financing may be available on larger programs, subject to approval and each trainer's terms.
Is board and train right for my dog?
It suits owners with tight schedules or stubborn habits, and dogs who do well away from home. Anxious dogs may do better with in-home lessons. A trainer should help you decide.
What is the handoff?
It is the coaching session where the trainer shows you how to use what your dog learned. Without it, the skills often fade, so ask exactly how it works before you book.
Will my dog be safe and comfortable?
Ask to see where dogs stay, how often they go out and what supervision looks like. A good trainer will answer openly and let you ask follow-up questions.
Can I contact my dog during the program?
Many trainers send updates by message. Ask how often and what is included, and agree on this before the stay begins.
Is board and train in person?
Yes. We refer owners to in person, one on one trainers only.
How long do board and train stays usually last?
It varies by trainer and goals. Ask how long they recommend for your dog and why, and be cautious of any trainer who promises a fixed result in a fixed number of days.
What should I do after my dog comes home?
Keep practicing daily, follow the trainer's handoff plan and keep the rules consistent for everyone in the home. Ask whether follow-up questions or refresher lessons are included.
